Opportunities for Muslim Youth in the Caribbean

The Caribbean Muslim Network (CMN) was established in July 2017. As a non-governmental organization (NGO), the aim of the network is to unify Muslims in the Caribbean through engaging Muslim organizations and academia across the 35 Caribbean islands and countries.

CMN facilitates information sharing, education, training, and collaboration in research of the affairs relevant to Muslims. Of particular focus is providing opportunities for Muslim youth to acquire skills, knowledge and leadership experience that would enhance their ability to make meaningful contributions to the development of Muslim communities in the region.

Opportunities include training and mentorship in areas including media, film and leadership, as well as opportunities to engage in virtual “youth circles”. Podcasts and webinars on varied topics of interest are posted weekly via the CMN website and social media pages.

Muslim youth- girls and boys are encouraged to make use of these free resources and benefit from the wide range of opportunities the network has available.

To stay up to date on the latest opportunities subscribe to the CMN newsletter via their website https://www.caribbeanmuslim.net/ and follow them on social media @CaribbeanMuslimNetwork on Facebook, Instagram and Youtube.

You can also enroll for CMN's upcoming virtual course "Leadership from an Islamic Perspective" with Dr. Rafik Beekun here.
